Ballet This ballet class will focus on beginner barre work, center exercises, and across the floor combinations.

Contemporary Jazz A current form of jazz that shares movement characteristics with contemporary modern dance. Emphasis is on expression, extension, and turns. The class is fast-paced filled with cardio and strength exercises with an opportunity for improvisation.

Majorette Technique This class will explore HBCU dance drill movement and expression.

Contemporary Infusion A Contemporary class that explores improvisational movement, textures, and incorporates these techniques into a combination.

Ballroom Exploring Ballroom and other Social Dances, this class will bring exposure to how dance translates outside of the classroom to real life experiences.

Improvisation Exploration of movement qualities through different uses of textures, levels and shapes.

Ballet This ballet class will focus on intermediate barre work, center exercises, and across the floor combinations.

Modern for Contemporary Dancers Although today’s dancers may veer from traditional modern dance forms, there are so many valuable elements from these techniques that serve a dancer in any style. This class focuses on these ideas in warm up and progressions, and, then, the dancer can examine how they connect to a more expressive contemporary final movement phrase.

Horton The Horton Technique focuses on length, flexibility, and strength through a codified vocabulary.

Choreography Tools In this class we will work as a class to practice making movement using a variety of tools. By the end of the hour we will have created a dance as a class and practiced using a variety of choreographic devices, structures, and creative methods and processes. Students will learn methods for movement invention and creating phrases as well as constructing movement into larger choreographic ideas.

Studio Hip Hop This class will incorporate a beginner level warm up followed by technique drills. The class will continue and end with an intermediate/advance studio Hip Hop choreography.

Soulful Contemporary This powerful and expressive Contemporary class will allow you to explore different aspects of movement, freedom and storytelling. There will be a mixture of emotion, breathing and improvisation, tied together by intricate movement. You don’t want to miss it!

Contemporary Modern This Contemporary Modern class will challenge dancers in technique while also encouraging creativity and artistry. Students will work on spinal articulation, floorwork, phrase work, and improvisation.

Ballet This ballet class will focus on advanced barre work, center exercises, and across the floor combinations.

Jazz Tried and true jazz technique class; center warm-up and exercises, progressions across the floor, learn movement phrase and perform it at the end of class.

Comtemporary Korean Movement This class will begin with a short warm up to introduce students to Korean traditional dance basics followed by an intermediate/advanced level choreograph of contemporary Korean traditional dance style

Hip Hop This class will focus on the intricate rhythms that the body can explore to match and intensify the music of choice. Dancers are sure to have fun physically and mentally learning a fun Hip Hop Phrase of Movement.

Ballet This ballet class will focus on barre work, center exercises, and across the floor combinations for teachers and professionals.

Jazz For teachers and professionals, this tried and true jazz technique class; center warm-up and exercises, progressions across the floor, learn movement phrase and perform it at the end of class.

Improvisation Exploration of movement qualities through different uses of textures, levels and shapes.

Contemporary This Contemporary Modern class will challenge dancers in technique while also encouraging creativity and artistry.

Dance for Theatre This class will explore ways that teachers can incorporate movement for collaborations with the theatre department's plays and musicals or Dance for Theatre Units within the dance classroom.

Intro to Franklin Method Learn techniques from the Franklin Method for improved physical function. Franklin Method Educator Kerry Kreiman will introduce concepts and exercises for more accurate mind-body connections and ease of movement. Please bring one large towel and two small towels.
